This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the warehouse's receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with adopting new software and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.
You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track deliveries, ultimately overseeing the fulfilment of hundreds of product orders every year.Objectives of this RoleEnsure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.Help improve warehouse operations: product handling and storage requirements, inventory management and deliveries.Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and complying with legal regulations.Daily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, deliveries and customer service.Schedule and oversee the team to meet the demands of the warehouse, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency and productivity.Inspect equipment regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.Meet regularly with warehouse team to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.Review delivery systems to transport products to customers, communicating with transport providers to ensure efficient delivery of orders.Skills and Qualifications3+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing employees.Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.Ability to work with all levels of company staff.Comfortable delivering direct written and oral feedback.Fluent in both written and spoken English.Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite (email, Excel etc).Good understanding of warehouse-related software and the aptitude to learn new programs.
