We're on the hunt for a dynamic Warehouse Administrator to take charge of the smooth and efficient management of all inward and outward goods at our PIFS site!
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our Operations Supervisor and Warehouse team, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure every piece of cargo is meticulously accounted for.
You'll be the driving force behind optimizing our service standards, delivering top-notch experiences to our customers and service providers, all while championing health and safety protocols.
Your workweek will be Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the possibility of the occasional Saturday to keep things interesting!What you will be doing:Take charge of managing all inward and outward goods with precision and efficiency.Receive, receipt, and document all incoming stock in Cargowise.Measure, weigh, and label cargo, ensuring everything is accurately recorded.Allocate warehouse stock to the correct pallet bays.Confirm and verify that all outward goods are picked and prepared correctly.Deliver freight directly to customers, ensuring timely and accurate service.Compile essential cargo documents, including container lists, loading summaries, and plans for both inward and outward goods.Provide top-tier warehouse administration support, including meticulous record-keeping, data entry, stock reconciliation, and reporting.Ensure the accurate and timely compilation of all import and export documentation, maintaining high standards of compliance.Liaise seamlessly with service providers, customers (internal and external), and statutory authorities to ensure smooth operations.Ensure all goods are handled in strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including NZ Customs and NZ MPI standards for bond store operations.Oversee the proper handling and storage of Dangerous Goods (DG), ensuring compliance with regulations and proper storage in designated areas.Adhere to CAA/IATA requirements for air freight, ensuring all standards are met.Provide operational support to the warehouse team, assisting with daily tasks and ensuring everything runs smoothly.Monitor refrigerated containers to ensure they maintain required temperatures for optimal cargo conditions.Assist the Team Leader in ensuring daily equipment checks are performed and all safety protocols are strictly followed.Maintain the warehouse to an impeccable standard, ensuring it's always clean, tidy, and well-organized.Manage transitional facility requirements, including submitting AP documentation and ensuring compliance with cargo receiving processes.Fulfill CCA requirements, including the release of MPI cargo in and out of the warehouse and reporting on warehouse storage.Oversee DG receivals, update DG reports, and manage Material Safety Data Sheet documentation.Handle risk management program documentation, particularly concerning outgoing product documentation and ED experience.Undertake any additional duties as required to support warehouse operations and maintain excellence in all tasks.QualificationsWhat you will bring to the table:3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the warehousing industry.Forklift License – A big plus!Counterbalance and Reach licence – Highly desirable!Accredited Person (AP) status – Preferred for added expertise.IATA/RACA Approval – A valuable asset.IATA DG Certification – A bonus that sets you apart.Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced, highly regulated warehouse environment.Expertise in handling MPI, DG, CAA/IATA freight with precision.Safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of Health and Safety protocols.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft applications, inventory software, databases, systems, and Cargo Wise is a must.A natural ability to multi-task and prioritize with ease.Strong time management skills and a sharp focus on meeting deadlines.Reliable and responsible with an unwavering work ethic.An enthusiastic team player eager to contribute and collaborate.You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying.
