We are looking for a permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) to join a friendly and supportive team. The role is for eight sessions (4 days) per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible team player who enjoys working in a busy practice.The practice will assist with Medical Council of NZ registration and Medical Indemnity Insurance.We are an exciting rural practice with two full-time GPs and one part-time GP. The practice has x-ray, physio, radiology, and a neurologist who visits once a month. This is a close-knit team who are passionate about rural health in a high needs community. The practice is only 15 minutes from New Plymouth.Waitara has a population of approximately 6300. This small family-oriented town is situated in the Northern part of the Taranaki region.
