With a spacious, sun-drenched courtyard, it's the ultimate spot for any occasion.Midnight Shanghai: Located above Riverside Market, this venue specialises in all-day dim sum, cocktails, high tea, karaoke, and stunning balcony views.Both venues are part of the Double Dribble Group, a growing hospitality brand committed to building clear systems, training confident teams, and exceeding customer expectations across our 10 Christchurch locations.The RoleAs a Venue Manager, you'll lead by example, fostering a positive culture while driving business success. You'll manage front and back of house operations, ensure high standards, and focus on achieving financial and operational targets.Key Responsibilities:Hire, train, and develop team members, including Duty Managers and Chefs.Ensure consistent guest experiences by maintaining high service and product standards.Control costs, including wages, COGS, and operations, to achieve budget goals.Actively identify and solve problems with timely reporting and solutions.Develop business leads, implement promotions, and drive revenue growth.Oversee health and safety, team culture, and policy compliance.Your Team:Collaborate with Bar Managers, Head Chefs, and 2ICs, with support from the General Manager and Directors.Work with marketing to promote events, packages, and new offerings.What We're Looking ForLeadership: Positive, professional, and supportive.
