About the roleJoin the team at Chester Hospitality in Newmarket Auckland as a full-time Venue Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new hospitality venue, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and driving the overall success of the business.What you'll be doingManage and oversee all aspects of venue operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and complianceLead, coach and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionalsImplement effective strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfactionEnsure the venue meets all health, safety and licensing requirementsFoster strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholdersIdentify and capitalise on opportunities to drive business growth and innovationContribute to the overall strategic direction of the Chester Hospitality portfolioWhat we're looking forSignificant experience (5+ years) in a management role within the hospitality industryProven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent operational, financial, and people management skillsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and implement growth strategiesIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality sectorExceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skillsPassion for creating memorable experiences and a commitment to excellenceWhat we offerAt Chester Hospitality, we believe in fostering a vibrant, inclusive and supportive work environment.
