This role involves vegetation and forestry control around Ventia's transmission high voltage network and will work across the wider lower North Island.
The successful applicant will ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and themselves; therefore, a commitment to Health and Safety is essential.
About You NZQF Level 4 qualification or an equivalent forestry diploma A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a relevant industry (preferably in NZ) Experienced in the use of rigging and climbing equipment is advantageous Previous experience or knowledge of working around HV or LV Transmission Lines is an advantage A strong health and safety focus is required Familiarity with working around heavy plant and EWP equipment A full and clean NZ Driver's license is required as a minimum; an HT license is preferred.
Off-road (4WD driving) experience would be an advantage.
