User Experience Designer

Overview We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to join our team, dedicated to designing and delivering user-friendly and responsive interfaces for our in-house Transpower solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with two project teams and collaborate with business analysts and business representatives to understand and translate their requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Responsibilities As a UX Designer, your primary responsibilities will include: Developing UI Wireframe Designs: Creating and facilitating the review and approval of UI wireframe designs and UI components using tools provided by the organisation.
Contributing to Acceptance Criteria: Assisting in defining UI-related acceptance criteria within the detailed solution requirements.
Ensuring Consistency and Usability: Guaranteeing the development of a consistent and user-friendly interface.
Advising on Best Practices: Providing expertise on best practices for responsive (fluid layout) user interface design.
Documenting Standard UI Patterns: Documenting and maintaining agreed standard UI patterns to ensure uniformity across solutions.
Supporting UI Development and Testing: Aiding the development and testing teams in implementing and validating UI components.
Resolving UI Issues: Addressing and resolving any UI issues encountered during the development and testing phases.
Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Experience with Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma is essential, and experience with Balsamiq is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Professional Attitude: A professional demeanor and a proactive approach to problem-solving and design challenges.
Contract Details Start Date: Expected in July Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
