We need more amazing Volunteers to join GirlGuiding NZ to provide great Girl-Led programmes and activities for our Girls and Young Women.
Join our passionate and supportive team in a well-established, long-standing organisation with growth potential.
In particular, we are looking for Leaders for the following Pippin and Brownies Guide Club. Unit meetings are held during School Terms only:
Te Pahu Pippins and Brownies Guiding Club
Meets: Wednesday 3.30 - 5 pm
Location: Te Rore Hall, 5 Allcock Road, Ngahinapouri
FREE leadership training and mentoring, and all uniform is provided. There is no personal cost to you to Volunteer.

Requirements: As a volunteer, you will:
Have a passion to inspire girls and young women to reach their full potential and learn new skillsBe encouraging, assertive, and patientBe a hands-on leader and learnerMeet new people and become part of a worldwide networkDuring the school term, our GGNZ leaders:
Attend a weekly session (in person) for up to two hoursHelp plan the term's activities and deliver programmes to the GirlsComplete occasional evening/weekend training as requiredAttend occasional leader/planning meetings, and trips or campsNo experience is needed, but we need reliable Volunteers, and previous experience working with youth is an advantage.
GirlGuiding New Zealand's Health and Safety policy also has requirements around adult-to-child ratios, so we require you to be older than 18.
A Police background check is required for this role.
Time commitment:
This role would require 2-3 hours a week commitment for planning and running activities. We also require a minimum six-month commitment.
