Underwriting (Insurance & Superannuation)
To continue our growth, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Underwriting Development Manager to join the team. Working closely with the underwriting team, and reporting to the Executive Director, you will be ready to step into a supportive team, making a valuable contribution to existing and new broker relationships and our overarching business strategy.

A friendly, mature and professional demeanour with an ability to get on with people and to adapt your communication style to suit your audience.
A professional sales-oriented approach – with the ability to set and achieve growth targets and to record all sales actions and results in an accurate and timely manner.
Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
A proven track record in developing relationships, with an appreciation of the role that an insurance broker plays in creating and upholding client relationships.
Show a level of flexibility to be able to adapt and evolve with the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Broker engagement, training, and presentations.
Generating new business leads and maximising premium and renewal retention, whilst maintaining strong underwriting principles.
Building strong broker relationships that are based on trust and longevity.
Contributing to our sales and marketing team's decision-making processes.
Quoting new business.
An ability to travel regularly throughout New Zealand.
