About the Role
As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our dynamic Multi-Line team in Auckland. This opportunity arises from our ongoing growth and success, driven by our commitment to excellence and exceptional results. We are looking for a talented individual who is eager to contribute to our continued growth, shares our passion for the insurance industry, and can drive new and existing business.
This role will see responsibility for:
Preparing and communicating quotations, bindings, policy conditions and mid-term adjustments/endorsements
Negotiating rates/terms with brokers
Following up offers of new quotations/renewals
Updating reporting systems
Development and maintenance of broker relationships including visitations to client offices which may include presentations
Ensuring excellent service standards are maintained
Working effectively with the team to accomplish agreed underwriting goals
About You
A self-starter with great communication and organisational skills and a minimum of three (3) years Property experience with demonstrated knowledge of client industries and businesses and risks, as well as market knowledge, good interpersonal skills and a passion for excellent customer service and building relationships.
Enjoys working in a close-knit team and highly collaborative environment, is able to make decisions, has a drive to grow the business through team success, and a hunger for personal development.
