You will also be accountable for developing and maintaining broker relationships, which includes a strategic engagement and visitation plan – ensuring visibility of AIG in the market.Key accountabilities will include but are not limited to:Under general direction has responsibility for the sales and underwriting of multi-line Commercial Lines business within the Business Package Profit Centre.Establishes, maintains and grows relationships with targeted brokers and agents.Actively engages in the sales process, driving GWP growth on assigned target accounts.Engaging with broker management to engage a strategy for each broking business allocated to you.Identification, qualification, development, and marketing of homogenous high-volume mono or multi-line product and service opportunities.Quote and underwrite new and renewal opportunities.What you'll need to succeedKnowledge of Commercial property and casualty underwriting for business package.Understands key business drivers in the business package segment.Client-oriented with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships.Other relevant experience (i.e.
in the insurance industry as an insurance broker, claims handler, reinsurance underwriter, risk manager or equivalent).Previous experience within a commercial insurance/finance/legal environment, including exposure to clients and/or intermediaries.Awareness of developments and trends in the commercial sector having insurance implications.Ready to take your career to the next level?
