We are on the hunt for an experienced risk and compliance professional to take ownership of operational risk and compliance for Treasury and Financial Markets at Kiwibank. This role is pivotal in establishing and embedding sound risk management practices across these specialist teams, providing expert guidance, and ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with senior leaders and specialist teams to:
Develop and implement robust operational risk and compliance strategiesIdentify risks, ensure effective controls are in place, and drive risk minimizationOversee regulatory changes, risk transformation initiatives, and accreditation processesProvide clear, compelling risk profiles and deliver insightful risk reportingThis is us. Proven expertise with exposure to a Financial Markets or Treasury environmentPrevious experience in the banking industry is preferredGood understanding of key legislation and regulations that impact the operational activities of a Treasury and Financial Markets functionA proactive and strategic thinker who thrives in managing complexity and driving changeExperienced in designing and implementing monitoring and testing programmesProven stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence at all levelsYou do not need to tick every box here to be considered!
