The Co-operative Bank – Wellington Central, North Island
As part of our Treasury team, the Treasury Analyst plays a key operational role in the team and helps support the Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer. Day to day you'll manage the daily cash position, and quantify the financial risks of The Co-operative Bank (interest rate, liquidity, counterparty, foreign exchange, capital adequacy), plus assist Treasury in managing them.
Other key functions of the role include assisting with managing the securitised trusts, addressing operational and compliance issues, and providing useful and timely reporting.
We prefer candidates who have had some experience in a treasury or finance role.
You'll bring the following experience to the table:
A finance or accounting degree
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel.
Demonstrated strong analytical and modelling skills.
Sound problem-solving skills.
