The Auckland Women's Centre Board is looking to co-opt a new member with some financial experience to ensure a good all-round balance of skills in the group.
Role Overview: Governance Board members are volunteers who oversee the vision, policy, strategy, and financial sustainability of the organisation. You do not need to already have board experience to join us, but we're keen to include someone who will be a proactive team member.
We are looking for a woman or non-binary person who:

Has an intersectional feminist analysis.
Understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Has some experience working or volunteering in community groups.
Existing skills in accounting, budget management, and assisting with monthly accounts are a bonus.

Time Commitment: The time commitment includes board meetings on the third Wednesday of every month, meeting preparation, and some working group activity.
