As Transport Coordinator, you'll be pivotal in ensuring smooth logistics, optimizing resources, and helping us reach our sustainability goals while meeting business requirements.About the Role:In this role, you'll oversee daily transport operations, manage a dedicated fleet, and streamline resources across Auckland's satellite yards. Your focus will be on supporting Envirocon's mission to reduce construction waste by transforming excess concrete into valuable, sustainable products and delivering these products in an efficient and cost-effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Dispatch Management: Oversee daily dispatch functions and utilize software tools (Envirotrac, Arkturus) for real-time planning and optimization.Fleet & Team Management: Lead a team of 3, manage a fleet of 3 trucks, and ensure high safety standards and efficient use of vehicles.Customer Coordination: Liaise with customers and freight providers to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality service.Inventory Control: Oversee procurement and availability of fixing kits to meet production demands.Drive Freight Margins: Manage and improve freight margins to align with business targets.Installation Coordination: Liaise with installation contractors, schedule services, and ensure timely installation processes for customer satisfaction.About You:Experience in transportation, dispatch, or logistics operations.Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and efficiency-focused approach.Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.Tech-savvy, knowledgeable in safety regulations, and committed to sustainable practices.Ability to take charge of your cost center and identify revenue opportunities to drive business growth.Location: PenroseHours: 40 hours per weekJoin us in driving operational excellence and supporting a more sustainable future in construction!
