Transitional Housing Team Leader - Papakura, AucklandTransitional Housing Team Leader - Papakura, AucklandLead a team to deliver high quality best practice support for whanau.Play an active role in providing safe, warm and dry housing.Bring your strengths in collaboration to a passionate forum of stakeholders.Mo te turanga - About the role:Co-ordinate and oversee the implementation of the Transitional Housing Service.Deliver a professional, empathetic, and effective service to people, families and communities.Provide warm, dry and safe short-term accommodation for people in need, along with tailored support to transition to suitable and sustainable long-term accommodation.Support and guide staff to deliver the Transitional Housing (TH) Contract.Represent The Salvation Army in local Housing forums, advocating for long term systemic change.Connect people to Salvation Army Services and Corps programmes that enhance their current circumstances and meet individual needs.Knowledgeable of Transitional Housing Contract and Salvation Army Policies.Oversee the operational practice of the Housing service.Collaboration and Contribution to Regional Housing Solutions.Manage risks within houses and breaches to Occupancy Agreements / Escalation of concerns.Prepare reports.Committed to upholding and supporting The Salvation Army mission and Christian values.Our ideal person will:Minimum degree level in social sciences, education or health sector is preferred.Proven experience in leading dynamic teams.
