As the Transformation Programme Risk Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the identification, management, and monitoring of potential risks that could impact the success of the programme, developing risk management strategies, and ensuring that all risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.
This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, delivery leads, and project managers to maintain alignment with organisational goals and to manage key strategic risks.

What you will be doing? Develop, implement, and maintain the end-to-end risk management framework for the programme (including Delivery and Delivered Risks, Risk management for the coexistence period and joint risk management with Suncorp Digital Insurer programme).Facilitate the identification and escalation of risks through workshops and meetings with squads to the programme risk register.Monitor and support Risk Advisors, ensuring a coordinated proactive and timely approach to Programme risk management.Support identifying, escalating, and reporting relevant Programme delivery risks to the Transformation Programme Steering Committee, including any changes to these that may arise from alterations to scope throughout delivery.Engage with the Chief Risk Office Compliance Team and Suncorp Australia counterparts including jointly owning and collaborating on core and common risks.Maintain a strong connection with the Portfolio Risk Advisor, monitoring key risks between Programme, Portfolio and relevant Suncorp BAU streams.Maintain the programme risk and issues register and ensure it is updated regularly.Maintain an in-depth understanding of the programme risks through attending key forums and advise Delivery Teams on approach, methods, and frameworks.Establish and maintain risk management processes and frameworks relevant to the Programme.Complete quality assurance on squad risks and action plans for improvement.Producing accurate, high-quality risk reporting for the Programme Steering Committee.Action risk-related findings from internal and external audits on the Programme.To shine in the role: 5 years' minimum experience in a senior risk or compliance role is essential.Previous experience either working or supporting a Transformation programme in another medium to large sized business is also essential.Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to confidently build, nurture positive work relationships and collaborate effectively.Previous experience working with various project management tools i.e., PPM system.Exceptional documentation, reporting and presentation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Qualification in business, law or accounting is desired.The ability to analyse data for results and draw key insights.Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads.Strong adaptability skills with a high level of resilience.Great energy, tenacity, problem-solving skills, and a strong growth mindset.Why you'll love working with us: We have an inclusive and supportive environment and believe every voice matters.
