Consent Compliance Officer ($75,000 - $88,000) We have created a new specialist role, to provide high level support to the Assets, Infrastructure & Projects Group on all water related growth development initiatives and capital projects.
You will have experience in environmental monitoring, with the ability to understand, interpret and implement legislation.

You'll be a confident communicator, capable of providing technical advise, to ensure that appropriate considerations, checks and balances are put in place to mitigate any environmental risks.

Your own self-management skills will be as important as your technical skills. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships.

This is a fulltime permanent position based in Marton , however travel throughout the district will be required.
Au ake mahi| What you will do Undertake compliance monitoring inspections
Ensure compliance with resource consent conditions
Undertake field testing as appropriate
Review management and contingency plans, mitigating against potential adverse environmental effects
Ensure consent compliance is measured and assessed
Where appropriate, undertake enforcement action to achieve consent compliance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present and explain ideas both visually and verbally
Demonstrated ability to perform professionally and efficiently and a capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
