The Opportunity We seek a high-performing and friendly Transactional Team Leader to join a dynamic team. The Company A growing company bucking the downward market trend, known for its exemplary office culture and continued investment in its people, systems, and processes. The Role Lead a small team of accounts administrators across Payables, with some Receivables. Assist with the month-end finalisation of these, and provide backup support with AP/AR processing during peak times. Assist with fixed assets. Assist with month-end accounting processes such as balance sheet reconciliations. Support the Management Accountant with the tracking of KPIs. Assist with yearly audits. Ensure the team completes the outlet's monthly and annual accounting functions in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Promote a positive, professional image of the company. Provide back-up support for payroll (ad hoc, training provided). The Ideal Profile Ability to lead and develop members of a small team. Ability to create an inclusive team environment, giving all team members a voice, being open to input and feedback, and being responsive to that feedback. Ideally, a strong working knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and accrual accounting. Comfortable with transactional duties as part of the role. Must have current NZ working rights.
