Training Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join a protective services national team. This role is crucial for supporting the roll-out of a training programme within a large healthcare organisation.
As a key member of the team, you will help ensure that the training programme is executed smoothly and to the highest standard.
This is a temporary role starting January 13th and running through until the end of June 2025, with the potential for further extension. Key Responsibilities: Training Development Support: Assist in developing, reviewing, and adapting training modules, ensuring alignment with NZQA standards and hospital contexts. Regularly update materials and support engagement with Ringa Hora and NZQA for the National Certificate in Healthcare Security.Training Register Management: Set up and manage the training register, ensuring accurate documentation of all learners and training modules across hospitals. Provide monthly and on-demand reports.Training Delivery Support: Manage logistics for training sessions (room bookings, travel, materials), serve as the POC for IT/admin support, and ensure documents are standardized and ready for use. Oversee annual renewals and training schedules.Reporting: Collaborate with the Senior BA for timely KPI and financial reporting and produce high-quality reports for various stakeholders.CPI POC Account Management: Deputise for GM Protective Services in managing orders, invoices, bookings, approvals, and district inquiries.Skills and Experience: Proven experience in training coordination or a related field, ideally within healthcare or security sectors.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Familiarity with NZQA unit standards and healthcare security training frameworks is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SharePoint.A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a vital training programme that will have a direct impact on healthcare security in New Zealand.
