Embark on an exciting journey in the role of Maori Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) Engagement and Community lead. Our mission is to disrupt persistent disparities in South and West Auckland, aiming to build prosperous and resilient communities where tamariki and whanau thrive. As the Maori Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) Engagement and Community lead, you will hold a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic team.
In this fixed-term contract, you will have the opportunity to build strong, active relationships with akonga (learners) and the wider community, driving meaningful outcomes for Maori and Pasifika learners in trades education.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with akonga, community members, and stakeholders to support learner success.Create and share engaging and meaningful digital content to connect with akonga and stakeholders.Coordinate events and initiatives that support learner achievements and promote community involvement.Track and report on engagement outcomes to ensure meaningful impact for Maori and Pasifika learners.He korero mou: About you We seek an individual with strong cultural competency, who can build and maintain relationships and has graphic design or digital media skills. This position will suit an individual with the ability to build relationships, coordinate events, together with a passion for collaborative problem-solving. Your ability to work with young people in South and West Auckland, understanding Maori and Pasifika cultures and working in Te Ao Maori or Pasifika spaces is highly regarded.
