Role Profile
Assisting the Installation and deployment of cabling systems in accordance with project objectives and specifications. .
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting Installation, deployment and testing of cabling systems in accordance with project objectives and specifications and as directed.
Assisting the receipt and securing of materials; responsible for care of materials on site
Accurate and timely completion of hours worked by way of email or texting to Linda Shaw
Compliance with OCL Health and Safety policies; hazard management including identification, notification and containment
Adherence with all OCL policies, processes and procedures
Participates In:
Assists with the receipt and securing of materials and equipment; the care and safe storage of materials and equipment on site
Manage and Secure Tools and Equipment
Assisting with Test Records
Tool Box Meetings
Maintenance of a safe and tidy site
Assists with the hazard register
Completion of an incident register
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
The ability to learn and understand the installation of cabling systems
The ability to learn about the importance of accurate site records including test results, as built information and a site diary
Ability to read and learn how to understand technical documents such as specifications, schedules and drawings
Learn the understanding of the management of safety and hazards
Ability to learn and complete all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely fashion as required
Ability to gain a high level of initiative, the ability to work proactively to deal with site challenges
Gain the importance of team participation skills
