Role Overview: As a Traffic Management Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering and managing training and competency programs and conducting assessments for individuals and organisations in traffic management. We are keen to support the right individual to help develop best in class training and competency systems as our industry moves from the CoPTTM era into the NZGTTM era. You'll ensure that all training is aligned with industry standards and regulations and you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our road systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging training programs on traffic management principles, practices, and regulations. Conduct assessments and evaluations of trainees to ensure competency and compliance with industry standards. Stay updated with the latest traffic management legislation and best practices to provide relevant and up-to-date training. Provide support and guidance to trainees throughout their learning journey. Prepare and maintain training materials, reports, and records. Collaborate with other industry professionals to enhance training methods and outcomes. Represent Titan Traffic Management at industry events and conferences. Requirements: Proven experience with a clean slate delivering training and assessments under the current Waka Kotahi Training and Competency Model A current Connexis registered assessor able to register unit standards 31958, 31959, 31960, 31961, 31962, 31963 with a view to increase this scope as these develop Proven experience in traffic management, with a strong understanding of current and upcoming traffic management requirements and regulations Previous experience in training and assessment roles, preferably within the traffic management sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and assessments A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
