2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year with multiple projects kicking off, and we are looking for a dedicated Electrical Trades Assistants to join our growing team!
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their foot in the door of the electrical trade and work alongside a skilled, experienced crew.
If you're motivated, reliable, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various projects.Handle and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for electrical work.Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and ensuring all necessary materials are available.Follow strict safety protocols to ensure work is carried out in compliance with industry standards.Perform general labour tasks such as cable pulling, conduit bending, and material handling.Conduct basic electrical tests and assist with troubleshooting electrical faults under the guidance of senior electricians.Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.Work alongside a skilled team to ensure timely project completion.Provide support to senior electricians with various duties as needed.Requirements:Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices (previous electrical experience is an advantage).Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.Good communication and teamwork skills.A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.Site safe or any relevant certifications (desired, but not essential).Transport and a minimum of a restricted driver's license.Able to pass a drug test.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage based on experience.Opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training.A supportive and inclusive work environment.Safety-focused culture, with personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.Full-time role with the potential for a permanent position.What Are You Waiting For?These roles are kicking off in mid to late January 2025.
