Auckland1 week agoDescriptionTechnical LeadCreate positive change in the lives of the world's most vulnerable children by leading technical implementation within our Innovation Hub.Lead a team of problem solvers who invite collaboration.Deliver transformative supporter experiences as part of World Vision New Zealand.About this roleThe Tech Lead will be responsible for the overall technical implementation and success of all projects that are being run through WVNZ Innovation Hub, including Accelerator Projects and Project Symphony.Project Symphony is about re-engineering our platforms, channels, data and teams around current and future audiences, and enabling co-ordinated, triggered and automated communications to them across multi channels.Key responsibilitiesLead Platform Value Maximization through the Innovation Hub team.Timely Delivery of Technical Requirements: Take ownership of delivering technical requirements promptly. Design and develop technical solutions.Translate User Stories: Convert user stories into technical requirements, ensuring Developers, Data Engineers, and Tech teams understand what is needed. Scope and size epics and stories effectively.User-Centric Solutions: Ensure developed solutions are intuitive and user-friendly for WVNZ staff, suppliers, and supporters.Support RFP Development: Assist in creating RFPs for new technology and briefing suppliers on work requirements.Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions.About youTo be successful in this role, you will need:Relevant Tertiary education.Experience with CRM's (Dynamics) and Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake), having implemented and/or managed such platforms as a Systems Administrator.Experience implementing and/or managing Customer Data Platforms (e.g. Tealium, Twilio Segment) and/or ETL and Data Unification processes.Skilled in process automation and integrations (e.g., Power Automate, Logic Apps, Postman and other Restful API technologies).Experienced with using SQL, Python and JSON in technical implementations.Experience in Detailed Scoping and Sizing with technical and non-technical team members.Experience in delivering solutions that simplify the user experience and meet business needs.Experience implementing security measures in technology solutions.Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.Familiar with implementing and managing DevOps processes (Azure DevOps).Why work with us?World Vision New Zealand is a Christian organisation that empowers everyday New Zealanders to stand up and make a difference for children in the world's toughest places through emergency relief, community development and advocacy work.We offer unique benefits that are aligned to who we are as an organisation and our people, including Southern Cross medical insurance and life insurance, a day off on your birthday, the option to buy additional leave, a hybrid work environment, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and access to a free Wills package.What you need to knowYou will be joining New Zealand's largest overseas humanitarian organisation, made up of 100 staff.
