Tractor Operator

Seeking tractor operators for 2024/2025 season
Here at Hardegger Ag Ltd, we are seeking baling, cultivation, and umbilical operators.
The tractor operator applicant needs:
A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a McHale Fusion baler.
A minimum of 2 years experience operating a tractor.
Experience with Fendt tractors would be an advantage.
Must be able to operate a variety of implements.
Current and full driver's license.
Can demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of maintenance and repairs of implements and machinery. Some main tasks that are non-negotiable include the ability to check coolant levels, oil levels, tyre pressure, greasing of machinery, and ensuring that the tractor and implement are fit for the road and work.
To have respect for our machinery, customers, and property.
Able to follow instructions and work within a team environment as well as unsupervised.
Ability to identify issues that arise with the tractor or implements.
Minimum of 30 hours per week.
This would be seasonal work starting from September 2024 – Jan/Feb 2025. We are located in Isla Bank, Southland.
