About the Role:
A vital part of a team that offers service to community members experiencing food insecurity.
What will your responsibilities be:
The collection and delivery of items from donors, corporate partners and partner organisations to the Community Ministries centre.
Ensuring that food is collected, stored and redistributed safely, effectively and in a timely fashion.
Duties in line with the positive outcomes of the role.

Able to understand and relate to people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Work well within a team, establishing great working relationships with staff, service users, peers.
Able to make sound logistical decisions.
Able to lift and load heavy items safely.
Able to organise self and others, using time management to prioritise tasks and keep track of work progress.
Able to manage positive external/internal relationships, connecting the centre with the broader Salvation Army and wider community services.
Computer competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Compassionate, with an understanding of, and a heart for, social justice issues.
Hold a clean and full driving licence.
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

This role is permanent part time and hours worked will be 22.5 per week.
The starting hourly rate for this role will be $24.16.
