Timber Machinist

Location: Hawkes Bay
Hours: 50 hour weeks (Mon – Fri)
Pay: $27.76 - $30 p/hr depending on experience
About the Role:
We are currently looking for experienced Timber Machinists to join the production team. In this role, you will assist in the production of remanufactured timber products by setting, operating, and maintaining planers, band saws, and other specialised machinery.

Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the output of remanufactured products meets specifications Safely and efficiently cutting, gauging, and shaping timber About You: At least 2 years of experience as a Timber or Wood Machinist/Machine Operator Willingness to work day or night shifts A resilient, self-motivated attitude Physical fitness for manual handling Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to train others What's in it for you: Competitive pay rates A fantastic work culture Ongoing training and career progression opportunities Regular 50-hour work weeks (Mon-Fri) with opportunities for additional weekend shifts About the Client:
