Job Description
Milking 550 cows through a 40 bale rotary. Some rolling to steep country.
You must have at least one season and preferably two calving seasons behind you.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Understand and take responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, effluent management, and feeding.
Complete tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train other staff.
Look for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business.
We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Roster is 6/2 and 5/1.
You will share accommodation with one other.
This is a non-smoking, no vaping farm, and we do not allow pets or working dogs.
Salary will range between 69K and 79K.
You must have a valid driver's license.
You must not have any prior criminal convictions.
You will be drug tested pre-employment and randomly ongoing.
You must live on the farm due to the requirements of the job.
