Job OverviewLead Auckland Transport's ticketing and transformation roadmap, focusing on the National Ticketing System (NTS) and Open Loop projects. This is a permanent opportunity located at the Viaduct.

In this critical leadership role, you will lead Auckland Transport's ticketing and transformation roadmap through three phases:
Open LoopAccount-based National Ticketing Solution (NTS)MaaS (Mobility as a Service)You will have overarching responsibility for the technical transition and transformation of both the National Ticketing System (NTS) and Open Loop projects, utilizing your extensive technical experience.
Your role includes leading, motivating, empowering, and aligning a team of solution architects, process engineers, change managers, and data architects to support payment technology and process transformation at different stages. You should have proven experience leading the technical rollout of technology solutions that require significant user change and transition to new products, alongside at least 10 years of experience working in project teams delivering customer-facing technology solutions.
Additionally, you will have prior experience with the technology, data, and services associated with public transport ticketing solutions (preferably AT HOP), as well as:
Tangible evidence of successful delivery of technology solutions, services, and productsFacilitation and development of strategies to meet customer needsExperience working in partnership with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to create excellent servicesExperience with open-loop ticketing solutionsWe seek a leader who embodies progressive thinking, innovation, optimism, resilience, and the vision and commitment to build this critical part of our business.
