Axis Sports Medicine brings together an interdisciplinary team of Sport and Exercise Physicians, Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, other Specialist Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and other service providers to offer coordinated care to the country's top athletes right through to every day New Zealanders. With over 100 staff (and growing) spread across four sites in Auckland and a site in Queenstown, they set the standards in the delivery of sports medicine services. They're an enormously successful Group, always moving forward and leading the way. The Job This new role is designed to support and strengthen Axis' existing incredible team. The work of the Quality & Service Delivery Manager will help Axis to continue to deliver outstanding patient experiences and world-class care Report to the Head of People & Performance (who is amazing) Design, develop and drive significant improvements in service productivity and quality performance Collaborative design and implementation of new service offerings Oversee and ensure the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness across all clinical and rehabilitation services Manage and lead Axis' high performing, rapidly growing rehabilitation teams Collaborate closely with Clinical Directors and senior management to drive quality improvement initiatives 4 direct reports Your main workplace will be at Axis' St John's site but there will be regular travel to their other clinics. What You'll Bring: Previous experience as a practising clinician Industry experience in a business operations and service delivery (non-clinical) role with people management Proven leadership and team management skills Quality & change management experience A reputation for working collaboratively - you'll be widely regarded as a respected achiever, someone who strives for excellence and can roll up your sleeves and make things happen Your Referees will describe you as a "must have" team member, someone who is able to work closely with other talented people to deliver exceptional outcomes Commercial "smarts", agility, curiosity and drive.
