Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As the Ticketing Service Owner works alongside the business owner in the operations space and is a pivotal role within Auckland Transport, tasked with ensuring the seamless operation and technical management of AT's ticketing solutions.
This includes the Auckland Integrated Fare System (AIFS) and contactless payment systems, which are critical components of Auckland's public transport infrastructure.
You will be the central figure responsible for defining, maintaining, and enhancing these services, ensuring they meet both operational excellence and business objectives.

You will bring significant experience in IT operational management / service delivery management roles.
You will have strong experience effectively managing external/third parties and show customer focus.
You will ideally have some experience in managing complex ticketing systems or similar technology solutions alongside the following: Strong understanding of fare systems and contactless payment technologies.
Leadership (ability to form virtual teams and influence) Excellent organizational and communication skills Technical capability Excellent written skills Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challengesHighly developed relationship and interpersonal skills Calm under pressure Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
