An opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher of chemistry to join our Science Faculty as TIC chemistry from the start of the 2025 school year. The successful applicant will have a rich understanding of the curriculum, a growth mindset, the ability to develop and create responsive assessment practices for students and be a collegial and responsive team player.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications.
Entry requirements: To become a secondary teacher, you need to have one of the following at Level 7 or above of the NZQF:
A specialist subject degree followed by a one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) or a Master of Teaching (Secondary)
A Bachelor of Education (Technology)
A Bachelor of Teaching conjoint degree (a combination of teaching and specialist subjects).
