Theatre Coordinator
We are looking for a Theatre Coordinator to assist in the efficient running of our Theatre Department. Southern Cross' Invercargill hospital is widely known and used by people through the Southland and the Queenstown-Wakatipu basin areas.
Our hospital in Invercargill provides services to around 3,000 patients annually, has 26 in-patient beds and a day surgery unit accommodating up to 15 patients per session.
To be successful you will need:

Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate or other relevant Registered Health Professional with a current competency-based Practicing Certificate
Post graduate diploma or evidence of ongoing education relative to practice / position
Operating Theatre experience
5 years of previous leadership/management experience
Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate surgical booking processes and manage teams/staff
Excellent communication skills and be a team player
To be flexible/adaptable and to respond positively to the changing needs of the business
