The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Theatre Co-ordinator.
Working in the Theatre department, reporting to the Theatre Manager, the Theatre Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating Theatre where our surgical procedures include cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, spinal, general and paediatrics, urology, plastics, maxillo facial, ENT and dental.
To be successful in this role you will:
Be a team player who understands that relationships are key to effective and efficient co-ordination of services;
Have at least three years relevant clinical experience in NZ;
Demonstrate awareness and application of AORN standards;
Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and enhancing quality;
Have excellent verbal and written skills;
Have a high level of organisation and good time management skills.
