The Opportunity We are looking for a Head Chef that can create world-class menus, is organised, can lead and nurture a team, is not afraid to pitch in and want their entire team to succeed, which includes seeing the front of house team as an extension of their own. Ideally, you will have a minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable role, be confident in all sections within a kitchen, have a passion for hospitality and people, and have a positive and solution-focused mindset. This role is for morning and day shifts only but flexibility to work weekends is essential.
In this role you will be responsible for: Day to day operations of the kitchen and kitchen teams at all timesOngoing maintenance and development of all food offerings, innovation, quality and their delivery in the kitchenEffective people practices including, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance and offboardingEffective financial management, ensuring costs are managed and budget expectations are met.
