About us - Ko wai matouThe Centre for Indigenous Psychologies is an inclusive physical and intellectual space where, through our teaching and research, Indigenous Psychologies are embraced, experienced, understood and developed in ways that can benefit all communities.
A key part of this role is the ability to co-operate with the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies to proactively share objectives and practice of Indigenous Psychologies and the discipline of Psychology, in an inclusive and open-minded manner.The opportunity - Te Whiwhinga mahiWe are now seeking to appoint a Research Officer for the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies in an ongoing full-time role based on our Manawatu Campus.
Applicants will need to possess a relevant PhD (or equivalent) in Psychology or other post-graduate qualification.
It is important to note that should an appointment be made where the required qualification is close to completion, it will require completion within a specified timeframe as a condition of appointment.
The successful candidate will also hold demonstrated research experience in the Psychology discipline, is a collaborative researcher and has demonstrated experience in applying for external funding.The salary range for this role is between $81,172.00 and $103,595.00 based on the preferred candidates' skills and experience.
