About the role: Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Testing Technician's role covers all aspects of Holcim's QA system.
This includes wet concrete testing, both at the plant and on customer sites, plant and equipment calibrations, raw material sampling and testing, and data entry into quality control systems.
Responsibilities: Perform the testing required of concrete production in accordance with relevant New Zealand standards and published Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure concrete production is sampled and tested at a frequency as directed by Management.
Ensure raw materials are sampled and tested at the required frequency and that the data is entered in a timely manner.
Perform on-site testing when requested or directed.
