We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our Academic Registry team. In this role you will provide application support relating to student centric systems to the Academic Registrar and wider TWWoA management. This includes but is not limited to:
Providing technical support for enterprise-level application systems;
Responding to general questions and service requests;
Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying potential solutions for issue resolution;
Prioritising multiple, open issues;
Documenting issue triage as troubleshooting progresses;
Following best practices for change control of proposed solutions;
Working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Our successful applicants will have:
A degree in a relevant field.
Experience in system application support.
Experience using student management information systems.
Experience with database, application, and workflow and interface design and development.
Experience with:
Published and ad hoc report development.
Change management processes and workflows.
A current, unrestricted private motor vehicle driver's licence.
You will have a knowledge of Tikanga Maori and the ability to communicate at a basic level in Te Reo Maori, or a willingness to improve Te Reo Maori skills beyond basic level.
