Job Description and Responsibilities
Our team is responsible for Test Automation frameworks and infrastructure, including creating and maintaining our tools and processes. This includes supporting Product Engineering Teams on their Test Automation journeys so they can ensure that the product can be delivered quickly with a high level of quality. We also collaborate on proof of concepts with teams that they leverage to take ownership of their own coverage decisions and implementation.
Test Automation can be challenging, so we need someone who can genuinely provide support to testers and developers alike. You will work closely with platform architects to ensure that new tools and technologies are testable, and that automation is practical and applicable. Activities focus on influencing, supporting, training, and encouraging the development of engineers to become confident at applying automation approaches within their teams. You will not be responsible for writing automated tests; rather, you will be responsible for providing the infrastructure and knowledge others will use to write tests.
