Role Territory Sales Manager/Oil Consultant – Auckland Consultative and Solution based Selling Account Management Business and Territory Development The primary purpose of this role is to service the existing customer base, drive growth through increasing share of wallet and develop market share through new business acquisition. The Territory currently covers most of Central Auckland and incorporates many of our key and strategic accounts.
You will have some experience in consultative and solution based selling and you will be good at fostering and developing longstanding relationships from the workshop floor to the CEO. You will be an experienced B2B sales person that understands the importance of call planning, prospecting, listening and managing your time effectively. You will be confident with technology and utilising sales tools to maximise your success. Additionally, you will be experienced in writing proposals, negotiating contracts and managing a sales process from discovery meeting to presentation. You will be responsible for the financial management of your territory, controlling pricing and discounting in order to meet volume and margin targets. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team. Ideally, you would have had some exposure to Lubricants, either directly or indirectly within the Automotive, Commercial, Forestry, Civil or Industrial markets.
This role will suit an individual that is ambitious and wants to get to the top of their field and is willing to put in the time to achieve results.
