Mo te turanga | About the role Reporting to the Lead Tenancy Manager, the Tenancy Manager is responsible for providing tenancy services and management of a portfolio across a range of housing.
Key responsibilities of the Tenancy Manager role include: Manage a growing portfolio of properties including entry, exit and routine inspections.Manage repairs and maintenance.Manage invoice and rent arrears.Provide accurate records and reports.Have an open, proactive attitude.Align with the values of Visionwest in all areas of work.Be efficient and accurate in keeping records.Work in alignment with a Kaupapa Maori framework.Be open to completing Level 4 Property Management certification within 12 months of joining.We are open to someone with no previous experience, so long as they have a passion for helping the community and some understanding of social housing.
Skills and attributes we are looking for include: Intermediate Excel skills and sound IT/Microsoft Office skills.An analytical thinker with good communication, time management and problem-solving skills and the ability to plan effectively and take accountability for delivering on expectations.Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.The ability to work independently and as part of a team along with strong relationship management skills.He aha tau e whiwhi ai? | What's in it for you?
