We are looking for an experienced Tenancy Manager for our new Transitional Housing services opening in East Auckland. The role will manage tenancies within our Transitional Housing programme, where the Tenancy Manager works in collaboration with our housing navigation teams to achieve the goal of long term, sustainable housing for whanau.
The role involves carrying out property inspections, managing all lease documentation, managing tenant financial contributions, managing turnover and working in partnership with other team members and peers to achieve the desired results, all while upholding and promoting Emerge Aotearoa's health and safety and well-being policies.
It is essential that applicants have previous tenancy management experience within New Zealand and basic knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act. We are looking for a forward-thinking person who is positive, flexible, vibrant, confident, and compassionate.
You must have at least 2 years' tenancy management experience in social housing or property management. If you also bring along the following, we would love to hear from you:
