PHONE SURGEONS LIMITED is a trusted specialist in mobile phone and tablet repairs, dedicated to providing expert solutions for all major brands.
We seek a skilled technician to join our team, offering top-notch repair services and technical support, who will be responsible for the following duties: Diagnose issues with mobile phones, tablets, and related devices, including hardware and software problems.
Use specialised tools and diagnostic software to identify malfunctions or damages.
Run tests on phones to determine the root cause of problems like malfunctioning screens, buttons, batteries, or software glitches.
Repair or replace broken parts, including screens, batteries, buttons, charging ports, cameras, and speakers.
Disassemble and reassemble mobile devices while ensuring that all components are correctly installed and securely fastened.
Handle and replace delicate internal components, such as motherboards, chips, and connectors.
Use appropriate tools to complete hardware repairs, ensuring no damage to other parts of the device.
Diagnose and fix software-related issues such as operating system malfunctions, application errors, or virus infections.
Perform factory resets, software updates, and installations of firmware.
Assist with unlocking phones, resetting passwords, and backing up/restoring data.
Install and configure mobile applications as per customer requests.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand the issues with their devices.
Provide detailed explanations of repair processes and cost estimates to customers.
Offer advice on device maintenance and protection to prevent future damage.
Handle customer inquiries and provide technical support both in-person and over the phone.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $28 to $32 per hour.
A suitable candidate should have: 2 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Technical knowledge of mobile phone components and software.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling delicate components.
Good communication and customer service skills to explain issues and provide solutions.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Public holidays Weekend availability #J-18808-Ljbffr
