As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic projects across TVNZ that drive digital transformation and address technology risks. In this role, you will be working across the business, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business objectives, are completed on time, and meet quality standards. The Technical Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring, adapting to project needs to deliver successful outcomes.
This is a fixed-term contract for 9 months. To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
Wealth of experience managing complex Technology and Business projects with both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies along with vendor management skills.Deep understanding of common Firewall & Network technologies, Cyber Security EDR, CASB and SIEM services, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technology (including Microsoft Purview).Skilled in adapting methodology to fit project requirements and team needs.Experience in Broadcast and Media organisations and their relevant technologies.Ability to align project outcomes with business strategy, balancing short- and long-term objectives.Ability to engage effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders, including executives and project teams in a complex business environment.Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, able to influence decisions and foster alignment.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects, and shift between methodologies.Resilient under pressure, maintaining focus and clarity in high-stakes situations.If you would like to find out more about this amazing opportunity, please feel free to call our Head of Talent Acquisitions, Philly Irvine on 021 564 691.
