We are looking for a Technical Product Lead (Test Lead) to join the Case Services team within Digital Office at the Ministry of Justice.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity The Technical Product Lead (Test Lead) is responsible for leading testing and acceptance activities for the Case Services team.
You will lead the Testing Team (3-4 people).Defining the test approach and scope of testing for each release / delivery.Estimation, planning, and managing the testing effort.You will ensure quality testing outcomes are delivered.The role is hands-on with the successful applicant being actively involved in with test scripting and test execution across our services.
You will be actively engaged with the Ministry's Testing Community of Practice.
O pukenga/Skills and Experience As a successful Technical Product Lead (Test Lead) you will demonstrate
Test leadership and hands-on testing experience in product development teams, particularly in an Agile context.Communication with a wide range of audiences on a range of complex issues.Ability to build and maintain a range of effective business relationships within an organisation and a wide network of professional relationships across organisations.Experience and knowledge Experience in working with Business Owners and UsersStrong vendor and stakeholder management skills.Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.Knowledge of Non-Functional Testing.Experience with Systems Integration Testing.Experience of working in a multi-function project team with team members from across an organisation.Customer focussed with experience working in complex environments.Ideally some experience in the Justice sector.Tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Mo te tima/About our Team At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to strengthening people's trust in the law of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Utu a-tau/Salary The remuneration band for this role is $116,904 to $151,402 – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
