What you'll be doing | He aha tau e mahi ana Our Auckland Housing Processing Hub provides essential support services to our frontline staff and clients. As a Processing Officer, you will:
Assess and process client information to determine eligibility for housing assistance.Collaborate with Housing Case Managers, clients, and key stakeholders such as Kainga Ora, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and community housing providers.Analyse, calculate, and process Income Related Rents with precision, ensuring accuracy in identifying and processing refunds or overpayments.Communicate proactively with clients through outbound phone calls to gather necessary information and keep them informed about outcomes and available entitlements.Contribute to creating positive outcomes by assisting clients in transitioning to sustainable and suitable housing.What you'll need to succeed | Ko nga mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitu Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills, paired with empathy and excellent conversational abilities for client interactions.Ability to quickly learn and manage complex information effectively.Professionalism, energy, and a focus on delivering positive client outcomes.A success-driven attitude with a commitment to accuracy and team collaboration.Confidence working with financial data and maintaining high attention to detail.Flexibility and adaptability to change, with a desire to learn and grow in your role.You demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic manner, ensuring positive and supportive interactions with clients over the phone.What's in it for you? | Nou te rourou By joining MSD, you'll enjoy:

You'll work 37.55 hours, 5 days per week on rostered shifts:
Monday to Friday: Between 6:55 am and 10:00 pm.Saturday: Between 7:55 am and 6:00 pm, only for occasional overtime as needed.Flexible working arrangements may be considered following a thorough training period.
