Kei a koe te mana I The choice is yours As a Service and Experience (UX) Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the service offerings and experiences for our Clients customers. 'Customer' is defined to include users, consumers, citizens and employees. You should be well-versed in design thinking & human-centred design (HCD) methodologies, and user experience (UX) principles.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify service design opportunities and develop strategies that align with business objectives. Conduct user research to gather insights into customer needs, behaviours, and pain points. Create and iterate on service blueprints, user journey maps, and personas to guide the design process. Utilise design thinking methodologies to ideate and prototype new service concepts. Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders to encourage participation and buy-in. Test and validate service prototypes with users to ensure they meet customer needs and expectations. Analyse & synthesise feedback and data to refine and improve Client outcomes. Communicate concepts and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders through presentations and documentation. Apply UX principles to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for digital products and services. Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and ensure a seamless user experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our design processes. Relevant degree or certifications will be advantageous. Proven experience in service design, experience (UX) design, preferably in a client-side or in-market role. Strong understanding of design thinking and related methodologies, and UX principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, identifying opportunities and attention to detail. Consulting experience also a bonus. Pragmatic approach to design: i.e. we use certain techniques to solve a problem … we're not selling 'design'. Tech / digital skew. Preferred Skills: Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Familiarity with user research methods and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
