Mo te turanga - About the roleAs a Tech Lead in our Technology business, you'll play a key role in helping to provide technical lead on operations and consultancy for a large scale transformation project. This role is responsible for the technical analysis of requirements, designs, solution quality to support engineering activities.

Align the Environment strategy with the overall transformation program goals & objectives through Leading, facilitating, reviewing and influencing peers to achieve a high degree of consistency, coherence, maintainability and reliability.Ensuring system design and technologies utilised are implemented to meet requirements.Escalation point for third level support issues that may arise.Establish strong working relationship with stakeholders & delivery partners to understand the customer's needs for future.Ensuring infrastructure operations practices and appropriate documentation procedures are in place and followed.Facilitate/Participate in and work with project managers, infrastructure designers, domain architects, other stakeholders within the broader IT on all projects.Mentoring/Coaching of other staff to improve their capabilities.Create and maintain the integrated delivery schedule for relevant testing environments.Expertise in Jira and Confluence will be essential for optimizing workflows, tracking progress in line with programme.Prior working experience on customisation on COTS products would be a good to have.Identify and address risks related to environment stability, data integrity, and security and produce mitigation strategies.Work closely with development and testing teams to plan and execute environment releases.Integrate with Product team(s) and Monitor release schedules, dependencies, and version control.Be dynamic to build transformation road map time to time on environments usage.Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous in-depth experience as a Lead Engineer or similar positionA self-managing individual that is proactive and curious with leadership skillsAn agile and open mindset – able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situationsHave exposure towards all phases of SDLC, STLC, go live & Post production environment associated activitiesUtilised fair knowledge and working experience based on ITIL, PMBOK & agile /hybrid approachesProblem solving & AdaptabilityKnowledge and experience in Cross platforms (Integration, Mainframe, Connect Direct, integrated test Environments, Cloud, channels (Digital) and Downstream systems), products and projects is key to this role as would be subject matter expertise in Test Environment managementAbility to communicate complex technical issues and be good at asking hard questions, at the right timeExhibit holistic coverage while solutioning to the contextDemonstrate effectiveness through leveraging automation, usage of AI (where applicable)Process knowledge that includes and not limited to change management, incident & problem management, Environment Capacity planningHe aha te take e uru ai koe ki a matou? - So, why join us?From the moment you join ANZ, you'll be part of a work whanau striving towards a common purpose: shaping a world where communities thrive.
