Description Higgins is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to join the team based in Penrose, Auckland.
Join the Higgins P&P leadership team and be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive technical L&D Strategy.
About the roleThis role has a strong focus on technical training and needs based training programme development to bridge gaps and grow capability across a largely operational workforce.
You'll partner with the business and technical experts to develop fit for purpose learning solutions.
You'll get involved in things like:Strategic learning planning and needs analysisEnd to end technical training and development programme design Role profile developmentOperator competency assessment framework design and deployment Mapping career pathways About youYou'll have strong technical learning and training skills, and the ability to operate at both a strategic and operational (hands on) level.
You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, bringing curiosity and genuine interest in our people and industry.
You'll enjoy being out in the field, understanding the business and getting to know our teams.
Ideally you will have experience working in the construction/infrastructure or like industry.You'll also bring with you:Extensive experience in developing and/or deploying technical training programmesProven ability to lead change and develop new and innovative solutionsDemonstrated experience in stakeholder managementAbility to influence senior leaders, 'taking people on the journey'Part of Fletcher Construction, Higgins deliver a fully integrated complement of civil construction services across New Zealand and the Pacific.
